Held on Wednesdays for the next 11 weeks over ZOOM during your lunch hour (from 12pm-12:45pm) we’ll connect you with experts in their field, to motivate you to reach your fitness goals, relax and recalibrate, and give you the tools you need to bike more and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Now more than ever is a time of reflection. There is no going back to pre-COVID times, there is only moving forward, eliminating unnecessary distractions, and prioritizing what matters most in life, work, and family.

Meet our team of experts

Val Hopkins is an former US National Speed Skating member and Elite Cyclist, and current bike coach and instructor. She is a mother to a 7 and 11-year-old and frequently runs mountain biking skills training and safety workshops for kids and adults.

Galen Mook is the Executive Director for MassBike, the State-wide bike advocacy organization. He is also co-founder of Commonwheels, a DIY bike collaborative helping his community develop the skills to increase their self-sufficiency, mobility, and voice to advocate for safer infrastructure for all. He is also passionate about bike education and is a certified League of American Bicyclists Instructor for the past 8 years.

Meg O’Neill is a restorative yoga and meditation teacher for the past 20 years. She is also a Reiki Master and runs a successful program called The Stress Less Challenge where she guides her students through a 2-week journey to reduce stress and increase joy!

Aileen O’Rourke

Aileen O’Rourke is the Junction TMO Outreach Manager, Mom to twin 7-year-olds, a member of the Manchester Bike and Ped Committee and the Beverly Bike Committee and recently organized her town’s bike rodeo for elementary school aged kids. She also reignited the Safe Routes to School Program in her town. She taught her children to ride a pedal bike on the same day and frequently rides with her kids to school (pre-COVID) and around town.
