We have some exciting news to share – 2020 Bay State Bike Month and the MassCommute Bicycle Challenge are still on! MassCommute and MassBike have partnered in new ways to celebrate and encourage bicycle transportation across the Commonwealth during Bike Month this September. Here’s what you need to know:
The 2020 MassCommute Bicycle Challenge will take place September 19-27
MCBC will run through CommuteConnect. If you aren’t already using this free trip logging platform, create your account today. (Your previous MCBC account is no longer active, sorry!)
- Visit the MCBC page for instructions on creating your account, logging trips, and participating in challenges.
- Join the MCBC and other Bike Month challenges from the Bike Month Challenge site. You’ll see a Join MCBC Challenge button there soon!
The MCBC leaderboard will show the number of trips and total distance you’ve ridden as an individual, as part of a team that you create or join, and as part of your employer or building network [add specific TMA guidance here about joining networks]. All trip types count, so whatever the reason, log those rides and watch them add up!
MassBike is hosting additional Bay State Bike Month challenges in September
Join the MassBike network today and get ready for all challenges that MassBike is hosting in addition to MCBC. You’ll be automatically entered into a month-long Bike Month challenge and you can join additional MassBike challenges as they are announced.
